Good news - my new pc is running
Finally my new main pc is ready. Here are the tech. facts, if someone wants to know what I used to build this new pc.
cpu: intel i7-5820K
cpu cooler: noctua NH-15D
memory: 16 GB DDR4-2133
box: cooler master haf x
power supply: be quiet! power zone 650W
mainboard: asrock x99 ws
Harddisks (10 TB), blue ray player/DVD burner, SSD and display card are still from my old pc. I will exchange these parts later.
I hope, I will make some more interesting images by using this new pc.
Bad news - my main pc is gone for ever
A big bang yesterday at 6 p.m., darkness and my main pc is gone for ever. The power supply made the noise (at least one capacitor exploded) and kills the mainboard too. I don't know if cpu and memory are still ok, I will test this later. Harddisks are ok.
Many of my programs have been installed on this pc. Now I'm not able to make new images for a while. But I still have some on my harddisk to upload.
I will build a new pc, using actual hardware. But this will take some time because components I want to use are expensive (because they are new on market).
But I'll be back as soon as possible.
